Meknovates (Mechanical Engineering Students Association)
MEKNOVATES is an association formed by the students, for the students of department of mechanical engineering in CVR College of Engineering in the year 2016. It was inaugurated on 22/09/2016 by Mr.Sujayath Khan, Principal Director; CITD. It aims to play a key role in the overall development of the students by conducting co-circular activities. It also aims to spread the awareness of the importance of multidisciplinary approach and tries to navigate a new realm of positive competitiveness.
Objectives of the Association
- To provide the students a platform to display and honing their technical, organizational and communication skills.
- To provide the exposure to the real life engineering problems, both technical as well as managerial kind by organizing industrial tours/visit, guest lectures on latest technologies.
- To act as interface between the students and the faculty and strive for excellence of the students and the department.
- To conduct different technical events for students within and outside the department.
- To maintain a contact with alumini, who are key position holders in industry and explore these contacts in getting internships and placements for the student
