Placements of Students during 2022-23
The college has been creating records year after year. In spite of a recession year with about 100 companies visiting CVR and above 1500 placements for the 2022-23 academic year, it is the highest among the peer group of colleges. The average salary increased significantly to a new high. The highest offer is a remarkable Rs. 57,50,000 and several students got offers higher than Rs. 25 Lakhs. More than 100 students got offers higher than Rs. 10 Lakhs, a new record. About 300 offers are higher than Rs. 6 Lakhs. With this, CVR becomes one of the leading colleges in the state in terms of the offers with higher salaries. The placement percentage continues to be 100% for the past 6 years*.

The average salary increased to a new high. The highest offer is a remarkable Rs. 33,00,000 and more than 100 students got offers with high salaries, a new record. About 225 offers are higher than Rs. 6 Lakhs. With this, CVR becomes one of the leading colleges in the state in terms of the offers with higher salaries for this year. The placement percentage is higher compared to many premier institutions not only in the state but also in the country*.

Cybernauts (Students Club)
Cybernauts, a students club, was inaugurated at CVR College of Engineering on 29.08.2018. The motto of this club is to “To Learn, Share and Innovate new things”. Cybernauts Club provides a platform for our students to learn latest technologies. It provides enough space for our students to exhibit their technical knowledge to others. The club commemorates technical programs such as Technical Talks, Guest Lectures, Alumni Lecture Series, Workshops, Hackathons, Industrial Visits, Certification Courses, Technical Quiz, Technical Fest and Mock Interviews. Students are the organizers & volunteers of the events conducted. This club is an asset to the organization by bringing up such activities in the campus. The club has conducted two Technical Fests successfully in the past in 2019 and 2022, namely CYPHER-2K19 and CYPHER-2K22. CYPHER-2K22 event was organised in collaboration with Computer Society of India(CSI) and Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE). The Fests had a plethora of Technical events like Project Expo, Code Debugging, Brain Walk, Blind Bug, Quiz, Coding Mania, A Degree in a Day, Start-up ideas and Non-technical events like Fun-Zone, Pictionary, Stand-up comedy, Treasure Hunt etc. Students are encouraged to participate in the events and are provided technical support by the faculty.
Republic Day 2023
Republic Day is a wonderful occasion to celebrate the unity in diversity of various rich and varied cultures of our country. With this objective, the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) club of CVR College of Engineering has made an attempt to celebrate the linguistic diversity in the college by inviting the faculty to convey Republic Day wishes in their very own language.
