CVR College of Engineering celebrated its graduation day on 15th July, 2023 with grandeur amidst the dignitaries, the governing council members, staff, students and their parents. The Chief Guests for the Graduation Ceremony were Shri. Anurag Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, ECIL and Dr. P.V. Radhadevi, Director, ADRIN, ISRO.
The Chief Guests in their addresses congratulated students, management and faculty. They also appreciated College for having very renowned academicians and for growing progressively. They also emphasized on the importance of good communication skills as it is the need of the hour. They advised students to be global citizens contributing their technical knowledge for the betterment of the society.
The Chairman, Dr. Raghava Cherabuddi, believes in quality education and has steered CVR College of Engineering to be one of the prestigious institutions in the field of technical education. In his address he congratulated the toppers, graduates and faculty for the successful outcomes. In spite of a recession year, placements had crossed 1500 this year. The highest pay package was 57 Lakhs per annum, with companies offering several students pay packages of over 25 Lakhs, over 100 students pay packages of more than 10 Lakhs and about 300 students pay packages higher than 6 Lakhs (a record). Many students are also going to pursue higher studies both in India and abroad. The credit for the successful outcomes is due to the encouragement and involvement of the Chairman, Placement Officer, faculty and mostly due to the commitment of the students.
He advised the students to be visionary and committed to the task they endeavor upon, maintain ethics in their future life and career. Principal Dr. Ramamohan Reddy Kasa delivered the welcome address, and presented the highlights of the year 2022-2023, including that two B.Tech courses got the coveted 6 year NBA accreditation.
Dr. K. S. Nayanathara, Dean-Academics lauded the academic achievements of the outgoing batch and also commended the remarkable placements achieved by the graduates. The Director, Dr. K.Rama Sastri, Dean-Research, Dr. Lal Kishore, Vice Principal Prof. L.C. Siva Reddy, HODs, Professors, Faculty and students volunteers and all graduating students along with their parents and other family members were active participants in the ceremony.
