NAAC 'A' Grade, NBA Accredited for 7 UG programs under Tier 1 CVR College of Engineering is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade from 2016 to 2021 (in the process of renewal). The college is also accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation) in Tier-1 for seven of its UG programs - EIE for a period of 3 years from 2024-2027, CSE, Civil, Mechanical, IT for a period of 3 years (2025-2028) and ECE, EEE for a period of 6 years (2022-2028). Record Placements The college has been creating records year after year. In spite of a huge recession year with about 75 companies visiting CVR and above 900 placements for the 2023-24 academic year, it is the highest among the peer group of colleges. The average salary increased to a new high. The highest offer is a remarkable Rs. 33,00,000 and more than 100 students got offers with high salaries, a new record. Library The College has a dedicated three-storied building with a total area of 1450 sqm, for the exclusive use of Library and Postgraduate Research facilities. The College library has 87,582 books, 17,046  reference titles and 191 journals (including IEEE Journals along with full access to Digital Libraries of IEEE, ASME, ASCE etc.) that cater to all the eight branches of engineering, as well as other disciplines. National Workshop on Public Key Infrastructure

Team from CDAC has conducted a two day workshop on PKI. They could successfully demonstrate the use of digital certificates using XCA software

Invited Talk on  Internet Of Things(IOT)

Speaker: Sri.Pawan Shukla
Date of event: 16/10/2015

The speaker has thrown light on various issues related to IOT including its need, design and architecture,  its applications etc. The speaker made the session more interesting by bringing and showing several sensors and chips like Raspberry pi used in this field.
The talk was attended by  300+ III year and II year CSE and IT students and faculty members of CSI student branch. The talk has culminated enormous interest in the students about IOT.

Invited Talk on Software Testing

Speaker: Prof.M.L.Sai Kumar
Date of event: 13/11/2015

Prof M.L Sai kumar, who has vast experience in both sofware testing and teaching could make the young students understand the importance of software testing. The students  understood the hardships and challenges generally experienced by software testers.
The talk is attended by 70+  III year and II year CSE and IT students and, faculty members of CSI student branch. It was a very interactive session. At the end, as a social responsibility,  professor made the students understand and appreciate the role of parents in our lives.

On 9th november 2015 the CVR CSI student chapter was inaugurated in the presence of  honourable guests Sri.Suresh Chandra Sathapathy (Chair Person - Region 5), Sri.Raju kanchibotla (Vice President - Region 5), Sri.Mohan Raidu (Hyderabad Chapter),  who were accompanied by an overwhelming strength of  300+ students of CSE and IT  departments. The event was also graced by our chairman Dr.C.V.Raghava.  The event not only promised a new beginning to the CSI student chapter but also promised varied opportunities to the student branch members. It was on this occasion that Karthik from 4th year IT was appointed as the first CSI student branch chairman. On the whole, the inauguration ceremony was a grand success, with the guests and our chairman sharing their experiences of being a part of CSI.
