Dr Raghava M, Ph.D.
Dr Raghava M obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Central University, Hyderabad during the year 2017. He received his M.Tech (CST) from the University of Mysore in 2003 and prior to that he completed his postgraduation in Mathematics from Central University, Pondicherry during the year 2000. He had started his engineering teaching career as a faculty in the Department of CSE, CVRCE in 2003. He received his promotion as Associate Professor in 2008 and got ratified by JNTUH in 2010. He is elevated to Professor position in the Department of CSE during 2017. He is also serving additional responsibilities as Associate Dean, Alumni Affairs since 2021.
Prof Raghava teaches subjects related to System Software, Algorithmics, Distributed Systems, IoT, and Image Processing. His research areas include Image Processing, Random Fields, Approximation Theory, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. He has published 12 research articles and co-authored a Textbook on Machine Learning applications. He had visited Thailand and presented a research article in MIWAI-16, an international conference. He had successfully executed a consultancy project in the IoT domain. He is a member of BoS(CSE) and coordinator for IQAC. He served as convener for two international conferences and one national conference organized by the department. He has been serving as SPOC for Smart India Hackathon and coordinating the internal hackathon editions. Students brought laurels to the college by winning 5 awards worth Rs 2,50,000.
Prof Raghava maintains cordial relations with students and takes harnessing their potential as a responsibility. He serves as an institute-alumni interface and coordinates various alumni activities, and meets on-campus and overseas. His ambition is to onboard all the alumni members to a single digital platform and to accelerate the alumni activities that contribute to the academic excellence of the college. He maintains the Alumni Affairs website of the college.
Dr. Yedukondalu Kamatham, Ph.D.
Dr. Yedukondalu Kamatham obtained his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh in 1998 and M.Tech. in Optoelectronics and Laser Technology from International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2001. He obtained his Ph.D. from the department of ECE, University College of Engineering, Osmania University in 2013. His areas of interest include Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Signal Processing, Optical and Wireless Communications, Deep Learning and Adaptive/Biomedical Signal Processing. He has been guiding several B.Tech. / M.Tech. students’ projects in these areas. Under his supervision, one scholar completed his Ph.D. in June 2021, another scholar submitted his Ph.D. thesis for evaluation and three scholars are working for their Ph.D. He has published 63 research articles in various International / National, Journals / Conferences including 26 research articles in IEEE. He won a best paper award for an IEEE conference paper in WIECON-ECE, 2019. He also published 6 book chapters in Springer.
Dr. Yedukondalu is a Fellow of IETE; a Senior Member of IEEE, USA; and a Life Member of ISTE. He is a reviewer of IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Signal Processing, Defence Science Journal, Elsevier Journals on Digital Signal Processing and Aerospace Electronic Systems, Progress in Electromagnetics Research (PIER) Journals and Taylor and Francis Journals.
He has 23 years of experience in teaching. Formely, he worked as the Principal of Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women, Hyderabad. Presently he is working as a Professor of ECE and Associate Dean-Academics, CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad, India.
Dr. Bandi Rambabu, Ph.D.
Dr. Bandi Rambabu is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and currently serves as the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs. He holds a B.Tech in CSE from JNTUH, M.Tech and a Ph.D. in CSE from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India,.
Since joining CVR College of Engineering in 2004, Dr. B Rambabu has accumulated 22 years of academic experience. His research interests span across artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain technologies, computer networks, wireless and mobile computing, and the Internet of Things. He has an impressive academic record, with 20 international publications indexed in prestigious databases like SCI and SCOPUS and 10 patents successfully published in India
Dr. B Rambabu teaches subjects related to computer networks, mobile computing, network security, sensor networks, cyber security, IoT networks, and blockchain technologies. He is a professional member of various bodies such as CSI, ISTE, and SCRS.
As a sought-after expert, Dr. Rambabu frequently receives invitations as a guest speaker and panel member from esteemed organizations like BEL and CDAC. He is also a valued member of the Board of Studies for both CSE and CSE (Cyber Security) branches.
As Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, Dr. B Rambabu oversees matters related to faculty workload, conducts faculty development programs, manages recruitment processes, and coordinates various faculty welfare activities.
