NAAC 'A' Grade, NBA Accredited for 7 UG programs under Tier 1 CVR College of Engineering is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade from 2016 to 2021 (in the process of renewal). The college is also accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation) in Tier-1 for seven of its UG programs - EIE for a period of 3 years from 2024-2027, CSE, Civil, Mechanical, IT for a period of 3 years (2025-2028) and ECE, EEE for a period of 6 years (2022-2028). Record Placements The college has been creating records year after year. In spite of a huge recession year with about 75 companies visiting CVR and above 900 placements for the 2023-24 academic year, it is the highest among the peer group of colleges. CVR has been ranked among the top colleges in the entire state. What makes it even more special is that it is ranked alongside very old and established colleges. CVR is the youngest college (12 years old) in the group with AAA ranking. The age of the other colleges is 16-36 years. Department of Civil Engineering

Civil Engineers are the pillars in any developing country, supporting needs from basic infrastructural requirements to state of the art smart buildings. To fulfill the objective of all round development of the country, Civil Engineering has been contributing in the development of infrastructure such as Airports, Hydro power plants, Railways, Highways and other engineering structures etc. The infrastructure development in a nation is essential for improving the standard of living with minimum impact on the environment and is a measure of progress of the country. To realize the dreams of young aspiring students wanting to contribute to the development of the country as a Civil Engineer, the College has established the department in the year 2011-2012 offering B.Tech Civil Engineering course with an intake of 60 students. The current intake is 120 students. This is the 7th academic department to have been established in the College.
