The vision of the Department is to develop into a teaching and research centre in APPLIED SCIENCES & MATHEMATICS.

To provide necessary support for the Engineering Department by offering courses in streams mentioned above to enable the students to
Understand the technical subjects & apply the concepts to solve engineering problems.
Develop spoken and written communication skills in English Language.
Pursue higher studies in India and aboard without facing any difficulty with a strong base in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry etc.
Develop into a Research Centre in Applied Sciences & Mathematics.
To make students adept in Managerial Skills and Accountancy which will be an asset in becoming an Entrepreneur and a good leader in Engineering Practice.
To create awareness about environment protection, ecology and industrial pollution.
To plan and introduce post-graduate courses in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Management Science.
To initiate interdisciplinary research work in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Departments.
