“SPECIAL MENTION AWARD” in IEEE YESIST-12 Competition - The Project mentor Mr. G. Venkateswarlu , Sr. Asst Professor, EIE Dept along with the student team MK Abhishek B-19B81A1007, K Narasimha Koushik-20B81A1014, N Supreet Reddy-20B81A1046, and P Bhavana-21B81A1008 has presented a Project titled "Solar wind Powered EV Charging Station” in the Grand Finale at the Arab Academy for Science & Technology, Cairo Egypt. CVR college of Engineering -EIE team has won “SPECIAL MENTION AWARD” in IEEE YESIST-12 Competition held on 2nd and 3rd of September 2023, EGYPT

Mitsubishi Electric Cup - One of the Major contributions from the EIE Department is that every year our students participate in National Level Automation Competition for students conducted by MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC INDIA, and every batch of students presented their consistent caliber by standing in top 5 positions and won the Bronze cup three times. Its a very tough competition at the National Level, for which the students are trained for one complete year and then encouraged to develop the live project / product to present in the competition.

Projects from National Funding Agencies ( UGC, CSIR, DST, AICTE etc.) Another remarkable achievement from the students of EIE as in the wing of National funding projects for the following projects in the year 2019 by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India under New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center (NewGen IEDC) programme. Three projects were been funded with an amount of Rs 2,50,500 /- by NSTEDB, DST - Government of India.

Project titled "Plantae Galvanism" is presented at Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2020 in online mode and achieved First prize award.

Project titled "Intelligent Traffic Management System" presented at Hackathon 2018 conducted at Yeshwantha Rao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The entire project presentation is live telecasted on DD Maharashtra and DD National Channels.
