CVR Journal of Science and Technology was founded in 2011 by Professor  Dr. K.V. Chalapathi Rao who served as the Editor of the journal between 2011 and 2015.

Presently, Dr. K. Lal Kishore, Dean (Research), CVR College of Engineering is serving as the Editor of the journal between 2016 and till date.
