Advanced Gurney With Voice Module Operation
Abstract
Speech is the vocalized form of humancommunication. Speech is the most natural means ofcommunication between people. The people with disabilitiesand blind are unable to convey the information so the speechrecognition system is used in these cases to share theinformation by operating computer through voice input. Thepaper is based on speech recognition technology which ishaving more number of applications in all areas of researchand is the fast growing technology. Hence lot of researcherspaid their attention to develop technical means which allowsdistant persons to communicate with each other. The mainaim of this project is to provide hand free voicecommunication to control the direction and the speed of anĀ advanced gurney with voice commands. This system providescomfortable conversation by the utilization of microphone.The speech module is trained with the necessary commandsthat enable the navigation of the gurney. The speech module is then interfaced to ARM7 and through Zigbee module thenavigation of the gurney is obtained. All the processing can berealized in real-time.
