2. They were able to understand the smart solutions being implemented by the
company to overcome its problems.
Event: Visit to T-Hub (Telangana Hub, IIIT-Hyderabad Campus, Gachibowli,
Hyderabad, Telangana)
Date: 24 February 2023
No.of participants: Total of 40 students visited t-hub accompanied by 2 faculty. The
faculty who have accompanied students were Dr. Lakshmi Swarupa, Professor, EEE
Dept. and Mr. NSSS. Adithya, Asst. Professor, CSE Dept.
Aim of the Field trip:
· To provide an exposure to students about practical working environment.
· To provide students a good opportunity to gain full awareness about start-ups.
· To get awareness about new technologies being adopted by the Start-ups.
Outcome:
The students were able to get an insight into the journey of the start-ups that were being
incubated at t-hub. The students got an opportunity to interact with the mentors at t-hub and
also with the entrepreneurs having their start-ups incubated at t-hub. The students also got an
insight into the types of mentorship being provided by t-hub to the Start-ups.
Activity: Workshop on “Achieving Problem-Solution Fit & Product Market Fit”
Date: 3 February 2023
Objective:
To understand about Problem solution fit & Product market fit
Event: Mr. Sai Kiran Chavali, Senior Innovation Architect at Verizon in Mobile and
Immersive Center of Excellence inspired the participants by highlighting various examples
of companies that failed due to ignoring the concept Problem-Solution Fit & Product-Market
Fit. He emphasized the importance of a company being flexible in changing markets,
identifying strong market demand, repurposing or reorganizing old ideas, meeting the needs
of customers, and keeping an eye on the future.
The guest speaker explained and answered some of the very important questions like –

Who should gain from the problem-solution fit?
Outcome:
Detailed overview and case studies of many startups were taken for gaining proper
knowledge so that one will be able to understand the challenges in problem solution fit and
product market fit. The students were very satisfied with the event and gave positive

Activity: One - Day Workshop on “How to plan a Start-Up and Legal and Ethical
Steps”
Date: 31 March 2023
Objective:

To unleash student’s creativity by providing them a perfect platform.

To provide a hands-on learning experience to students with regard to expanding their
start-up ideas under the mentorship of experienced entrepreneurs.
Event:
An awareness session on Start-up was conducted by the CVR College of Engineering on 31
March 2023 under the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the Institute. The session was
organized by Prof. Viswanath, Chief Coordinator of EDC. The speakers were the Mr. K.
Vignesh, founder of Becoba Pvt. Ltd and III year student of Mechanical Department and Mr.
G. Vivek, founder of Eforge Pvt. Ltd and IV year student of ECE Department. The speakers
explained the concept of business plan development associated with the basics of start-up
and guided the students about the importance of it. The speakers then provided an overview
of the process based on which valid registrations of a start-up can be done. The session was
organized in an interactive way.
Outcome of the event:
The students got inspired by the presentation given by Start-up founders who are also
currently students at CVR College of Engineering. Students got insight on how to plan a
Start-Up and Legal and Ethical Steps to be followed while establishing a Start-Up.

Objective of the event: To emphasize the importance of saving Energy for future.
Event Report:
A guest lecture was organized on “Energy Conservation Aspects In Engineering Disciplines
For Sustainable Living”, by Er. Balaiah Santhara, Director-COPES, Secretary – IIPE on 14th
December 2022 from 11 AM to 1:00 pm. It was attended by more than 40 students. Guest
Speaker highlighted on the following topics:
· Replacement of conversional energy sources with non-conventional sources.
· Methods to utilize energy optimally and efficiently with real time examples.
· Recent changes in climatic conditions caused due to non-Energy conservation and
high-levels of carbonic emissions.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Students understood the importance of saving energy and reducing our reliance on non-
renewable sources of energy.
2. It improved their outlook on energy conservation

Guest speaker was Dr. Mahesh Balasubramani, faculty, NICMAR, Hyderbad and Prof. Prashanth Kumar Sreram, faculty, NICMAR, Hyderabad. The guest speakers spoke on the type of skill sets that is required in the present job market and how they need to get themselves prepared for being job ready. They also highlighted on the unique skill sets required to start something on their own and to be independent. The workshop was successful, and students got lot of valuable inputs from the speaker.

One Day Workshop on “Innovation, Ideation and Start-ups” was organized under IIC-CVRCoE on 2 July 2022 in which 45 students from various branches of B.Tech from II and III year participated. Guest speaker was Mr. Shivkiran Sai, Head and CEO of ATAL Incubation Center, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. The speaker explained the process of product development in his inucabation center by quoting a few examples of products that have been developed and marketed through his incubation center. The workshop was successful, and students got lot of valuable inputs from the speaker.

Two Day workshop on “Make in India and Entrepreneurship” was organized on 2 and 3 January 2021 in collaboration with ECE Department in which 135 students of our college participated. The guest speaker was Dr. V. K. Arora, CEO, IGOTUW, Anveshan foundation, IGOTUW campus, Delhi. The topics covered were “Opportunities and Challenges faced by Entrepreneurs in Indian Market” and “Critical skills required by entrepreneurs to face these challenges”. The workshop was successful, and students got lot of valuable inputs from the speaker.

One Day workshop on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” was organized on 9 October 2021 in which 40 students from all branches of II and III year B.Tech participated. The guest speaker was Mr. Bhanu Prakash Reddy Varla. The speaker spoke about the journey towards Entrepreneurship taken by successful Indian Entrepreneurs. He also spoke on his experiences as an Entrepreneur. The workshop was successful, and students got lot of valuable inputs from the speaker.

One Day workshop on “Need Identification and Ideation” was organized on 27 December 2020 in collaboration with EIE department in which 80 students from EIE department participated. The guest speaker was Dr. Vimal Kakani, Doctor cum Innovator of Bio Medical Devices as well Director of COEO Labs. The topics covered were Need identification, Ideation and Entrepreneurial opportunities in Bio-Tech sector. The workshop was very enlightening and was very successful.

Workshop on “Creativity, Innovation and Ideation” was organized on 21-22 December 2020 in collaboration with Civil Department and Mechanical Department in which 120 students from CIVIL and Mechanical Department participated. The guest speaker was Dr. M. Sainath, advisor to Telangana IT Association and Head of Incubation Centre, ICFAI. Topics on Creativity, Innovation, and Ideation were discussed upon elaborately. The students got to learn a lot from the programme and also gave positive feedback on the workshop.

National Level Awareness Programme-2020 on MSME:
A One Day “National Level Awareness Programme-2020 on MSME” was organized by CVR College of Engineering in collaboration with Kadhi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) for 100 B.Tech III year students from EIE and IT Departments on 3 rd March 2020. Keynote address was delivered by Sri V.Chandulal, State Director, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, State Office, Telangana, Hyderabad. A Presentation was given by Sri G.Narayana Rao, Assistant Director, Khadi and Village Industries Commission on Schemes/activities of M/o MSME & also on Entrepreneur development. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Sri K.Uday Kiran, Jr.Translation Officer, State Office, KVIC, Telangana. The workshop was insightful for the students.
Workshop on “Entrepreneurshipin Upcoming Business Ideas”:
A One Day Workshop on “Entrepreneurship in Upcoming Business Ideas” was organized on 10 February, 2020, in which 75 students participated. The guest speaker for “Entrepreneurship in upcoming business ideas” is Mr. Sidharth Reddy Gauni, Co founder& CEO, Gaumanchi International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. A One Day Workshop on “Entrepreneurship in Agritech” was organized on 17 February 2020, in which 68 students participated. The guest speaker was Mr. Bhubesh Kumar, Director, RICH, T-Hub, IIIT-H. The students gave positive feedback on the guest lecture. The guest speaker covered the following points in his guest lecture:

“Design thinking” course for students:
The course was conducted for 198 students of our college for 14 days during February-March 2020. The course was taken by 30 faculty belonging to various departments who had undergone FDP on Design thinking. The students got an in depth knowledge on the following topics:

The guest speaker was Mr. Abhimanyu Bharadwaj, Founder and CEO, M/S. Launchspace Innovations Pvt. Ltd.The workshop also included several team activities, analysis of case studies, and critical readings. The feedback on the workshop was very positive.
Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp:
“Entrepreneurship Awareness camp” was organized for 125 students of all branches of B.Tech III and IV year students from 26- 28 Sept 2019. The camp was sponsored by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India(EDII), Ahmedabad. The guest speakers on 26th September were Mr. Abhimanyu Bharadwaj, founder of Launchspace, Mr. Avanish Mundhra, founder of Cantilever Labs, Mr. Vamsi T Mohun founder of IFIT Forum. The guest speakers on 27th September were Mr. Harsha Kankanala founder of Edwisely and Mr. Sri Charan Lakkaraju, founder of Stumagz, The guest speaker on 28th September was Mr. Ganesh Rayala, Marketing Head, Valuelabs. There was an industrial visit to T-Hub, IIIT Hyderabad on 28th September. Some of the topics covered during the camp were Modern Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Product Design Thinking. There were hands-on sessions on Problem Identifying activity, pitching of ideas and validation of ideas. There was a very positive feedback from the students.
Workshop on “Entrepreneurship”:
One day workshop on Entrepreneurship was organized on 13 August, 2019. 60 students from various branches participated in the workshop. Guest speaker was Ms. Sravani Ramisetti, Consultant, McKinsey, USA. The guest speaker delivered hands-on-session on the steps involved from idea generation stage to product prototype development stage. The students gave positive feedback on the workshop.
Workshop on “Entrepreneurship”:
One day workshop on Entrepreneurship was organized on 25 July 2019. 60 students from various branches participated in the workshop. The guest speaker was Mr. Vijaya Ramaraju, Founder and CEO of Instagreen . The guest speaker delivered a talk on his journey from ideation stage to commercialization stage of his product.
Workshop on “Entrepreneurship”:
One day workshop on Entrepreneurship was organized on 11 July, 2019. 60 students from various branches participated in the workshop. The guest speaker was Mr. Rakesh Munnanooru, Founder and CEO of Whistle Drive. The guest speaker delivered a talk on the qualities of successful entrepreneurs and his experiences as an entrepreneur.
